Foxes, coyotes & cats
This page collects all 6 canine and cat furbearer profiles in one grid - coyote, red fox, gray fox and arctic fox on the dog side, bobcat and lynx on the cat side. These are the wariest animals on the trapline, and for most trappers the ones that take longest to catch consistently: dirt-hole and flat sets for the canines, cubby sets with a visual attractor for the cats. The group suits trappers who already have a season or two of water or raccoon work behind them and want a harder problem. The trade-off is regulation on top of difficulty - bobcat and lynx carry quotas, mandatory pelt tags and CITES paperwork in much of their range, and lynx is fully protected in many places. Each card shows what the animal gives and the honest effort it takes.
